Orphan Aid Thrift Store @ Edmonds St

This split-level thrift store has a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde thing going on. The upstairs space is a gem, with reasonably priced brand-name clothes and an impressive book collection that's worth browsing. I can usually find some good historical fiction and travel reads up there. The downstairs... well, let's just say the pricing down there can be wildly optimistic (seriously, who's paying $400 for a used saw?). The volunteers can be hit-or-miss personality-wise, but they do support orphans in Zambia, which is admirable. Best to skip the basement and focus your treasure hunting upstairs - and heads up, they're not pet-friendly, so leave your furry friends at home.
