Value Village

Value Village has really lost its appeal over the years. While the racks are reasonably organized and stocked with plenty of options, their pricing has become downright ridiculous - I've spotted dollar store items marked up higher than retail! The clothing selection is decent if you're willing to dig, especially in boots and bags, but don't expect to find any real steals anymore. The furniture section is particularly disappointing, full of beat-up pieces that belong in a dumpster rather than someone's home. Not the thrift store bargain hunter's paradise it once was, though seniors' discount days can help ease the sting.
