JL Vancouver Thrift Store

JL Vancouver has a bit of a hit-or-miss reputation, but when you catch them open, the deals can be fantastic. The owner Steven stocks some amazing treasures - I've spotted pristine wine glasses and crystal platters at literally a fraction of what you'd pay elsewhere. The selection is decent, with a mix of new imports from the US and typical thrift finds. Fair warning though: their posted hours are wildly unreliable. I'd definitely call ahead before making the trip, unless you enjoy the thrill of possibly finding a "Sorry, we're closed" sign during business hours.
