Value Village

Value Village has become more hit-or-miss lately, with prices that'll make you do a double-take (and not in a good way). Still, it's one of the cleanest chain thrift stores around, spread across two floors with everything from clothing to electronics. I've managed to score some decent brand-name pieces, including a Ted Baker find, but you'll need patience to dig - especially at the locked display counter where it's one shopper at a time. Skip the crowded discount days unless you enjoy chaos, and maybe hold your nose in the basement section. Best for casual thrifters who don't mind paying a bit more for convenience, but serious deal-hunters might want to look elsewhere.
